REGITRATION FOR 2011 PHABC SUMMER SCHOOL

This four day long summer school divided into two, two-day sessions.  Plan to register for one session or both!

The goal of the 2011 BC Health Summer School is to support core knowledge, skill and strategy development amoungst public health professionals and public health allies specific to advocacy and health literacy in support of population health promotion.

The Summer School's objectives are:

1.  To outline foundational advocacy and health literacy theories

2. To connect public health advocacy and health literacy theory to current population health promotion practice.

3. To explore hoe inter-professional and inter-sectoral advocacy and health literacy work can effectively support poulation health promotion work

4. To provide participants with the opportunity to apply new public health knowledge, skilles and strategies during the course of the summer school
