At this workshop, presented in partnership with the Down Syndrome Research Foundation, members of interdisciplinary teams from the health authorities reviewed Down Syndrome Clinical Practice Guidelines, and discussed a number of issues related to care of children and youth with Down syndrome, including: cardiology, respirology, endocrinology, neurological regression, rehabilitation therapy, teen cognitive development, and complex developmental and behavioural conditions. Participants identified challenges and solutions to implementing the guidelines.
