The BC Pediatric Early Warning System (PEWS) helps providers identify abnormal physiology quickly and when tracked across time, offers early warning of deterioration. PEWS has been implemented in many hospitals across BC. Take this short online course for an overview of the evidence and practice using the components of BC PEWS through case scenarios specific to either inpatient or emergency care settings.
Up to 0.5 MOC section 3 credits are included and the audience is physicians working in inpatient and emergency/urgent care settings.
