In response to provincial demand, three pediatric, virtual support pathways have extended their services to meet changing needs and better support pediatric care providers across BC.
The Provincial Pediatric Virtual Support Pathways document highlights virtual support tools available to physicians, residents, nurses, respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners and other pediatric providers across the province and includes:
• Physician to Physician critical care support through Patient Transfer Network (PTN)
• Video Conferencing During Transport Consultation for Sending Site Providers Needing PICU Support
• Please read through a list of some frequently asked questions for the use of GoodSAM
• Nursing and Respiratory Therapy support from Critical Care Outreach Nurse (CCON)
• Pediatrician consultation support using the Pediatric Real Time Virtual Support (RTVS) pathway (CHARLiE)
